About me

A mobile developer, a world-traveller, an unofficial foodie, and a dog dad.

I was born and raised in Mapleton, Utah.

After graduating from my hometown high school, I served a 2 year volunteer mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Japan.

More in-depth information that I wrote about my LDS mission in Japan can be found here.

Upon returning from my mission, I attended Brigham Young University and studied Business Management as well as Japanese.

I took two separate breaks from my studies. One for 6 months in Changzhou, China to work as a volunteer English teacher in a private elementary school, and another for 9 months to intern as a Retail Operations Supervisor at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

Somewhere along the way, I became fascinated with computer science. The opportunity to attend Lambda School came along and I began studying iOS software development full-time.

Thanks to my efforts at Lambda School and the helpful staff there, I was offered a position as an iOS Developer for Mckesson Corporation where I now build mobile systems that aid health care providers in accurately monitoring their patients and offering them the most efficient treatment possible.
